Progressive Countertop is thrilled to be participating in the the Bluewater Health Foundation Dream Home Lottery for this first time this year.
Proceeds from the lottery will focus on improving diagnoses, specifically a new CT scanner which can give doctors detailed 3D imaging to help assess injuries or conditions more quickly and with higher accuracy. Progressive Countertop worked with Elite Homes Ltd. on this 1,655 square-foot, two-bedroom VisitAble bungalow. A ‘VisitAble‘ home has three features that make it accessible for all – a no-step entrance, clear passageways and an accessible bathroom.
KITCHEN & BAR
The 2018 Bluewater Dream Home is unlike any project Progressive Countertop has been involved in. Unlike other Dream Homes, the Bluewater Dream Home was designed to be accessible as well as aesthetically pleasing. This home is made with three features designed to improve ease of access for people of all ages and levels of mobility. A
zero threshold” no-step entrance, clear passageways, and an accessible bathroom makes everyone who visits this one-story bungalow feel welcomed and comfortable.
BRITTANICCA MATTE™ by Cambria was chosen as the focal point on the kitchen island. This design is a classic and timeless natural quartz, with Cambria’s incredible matte finish for a smooth, marble-sculpture finish. The waterfall edge shows off the beauty of BRITTANICCA MATTE™ and our expert installation team ensured the design was perfectly aligned at the seams for uninterrupted flow. BRITTANICCA MATTE™ is a show-stopper, which makes the subdued and classic WHITE CLIFF™ design perfect for the remaining kitchen space, providing an expanse of pure white quartz.
The basement bar top is a new Cambria Quartz design called CARRICK™, a subtle and natural-looking blend of marled greys reminiscent of medieval castles. Here, it is paired with a mosaic-style full-wall back splash which demonstrates the versatility of CARRICK™.
ENSUITE & BATH
There are three different Cambria Quartz products featured throughout the bathrooms shown here. The master ensuite, depicted below, includes WHITEHALL™ with a clean-cut Seacliff edge profile.
Below, you will see the classic and elegant CAMBRIA BLACK™, a dark base with slight sparkles. This installation has a high-gloss finish to add some glamour to the industrial and minimalist style of the main floor bathroom. You will also see a clean expanse of Cambria’s new design CARRICK™ featured in the basement bathroom, coordinating with the basement bar top.
LAUNDRY
The Bluewater Dream Home features an efficient and organized laundry space, with a large folding counter and a big deep sink for special jobs. This space makes laundry less of a chore with high-efficiency machinery, bright walls, elegant cabinetry, and the subtly speckled WHITEHALL™ quartz countertop by Cambria.
